    First, apply glyphosate at the best period according to different conditions. Glyphosate is a systemic herbicide, so it is best to use it before flowering. Generally, grass weeds are sensitive to glyphosate and can be killed by low-dose liquids, while the concentration is increased when controlling broad-leaved weeds; higher concentrations are required for some perennial rhizomes-producing malignant weeds. The weeds are older and the resistance is improved, and the corresponding dose is also increased.
     
    Second, pay attention to environmental conditions when apply glyphosate. In the range of 24~25°C, the absorption of glyphosate by the weeds doubled with the increase of temperature, so the effect of the drug was better when the atmospheric temperature was higher than the temperature. The high relative humidity of the air can prolong the wetting time of the liquid on the surface of the plant and facilitate the conduction of the drug. When the soil moisture and water content are small, it is not conducive to the metabolism of plants, which is not conducive to the conduction of
    drugs in weeds, so the efficacy is also reduced.
     
    Third, some herbicides such as metformin, paraquat and other quick-acting herbicides cannot be mixed with glyphosate. These herbicides will
    cause premature death of the aboveground parts of grasses, and terminate the endocrine conduction of glyphosate. Hence the glyphosate can not kill the underground root parts of weeds. However, adding some plant growth regulators and adjuvants (silicone) to glyphosate can improve the control effect.
     
    Fourth, choose the best method of application. Weeds absorb glyphoste better when the liquid is in higher concentration of glyphosate and sprayed at tinier droplets.
     
    Fifth, please also note improper application of glyphosate will kill crops. Only directional glyphosate application without spraying on crops are allowed. Glyphosate needs to be degraded for a period of time, and it is safer to plant the crops about 10 days after clearing dead weed stubbles.
