Eagle Brother’s Agriculture Drone Sprayed to Demonstrate Pest Control on Rice Growing
Recently, the agricultural bureau of Yongsheng county in Yunnan province held a pest control demonstration conference and Eagle Brother was invited to demonstrate agriculture drone advantages on pesticide application. According to the organizer, technicians from local agricultural institutes, plant protection stations and farmers were also invited to watch the demonstration.
Eagle Brother’s pilot used the TY-D10 sprayer drone and sprayed on about 10 acres of rice. The pilot showed smart AB point and autonomous drone spraying mode during the demonstration. “by simply set A and B points”, the pilot said, “the drone will automatically spray at parallel lines between the two points. Also you can map out the whole field and then switch the drone to autonomous mode to automatically spray pesticides “.
According to the organizer, there is always a outbreak of aphids in July and August. In the past, there were a lot of farmers in villages and traditional backpack sprayers are enough for applying pesticides. But nowadays, rice growing becomes much concentrated on a small group of farmers and it’s difficult for them to hire people to apply pesticides. On the other hand, the traditional backpack sprayers are very low in efficiency and may poison the users because of close contact. So they decided to hold the conference to promote drone spray service to help local farmers enhance pest control effect and increase rice growing yield.
